Jennifer Williams is a PhD student in the Department of Kinesiology at McMaster University, with a prior MSc degree from Queen’s University. She has previously studied the impact of acute hyperglycemia on vascular function in healthy men and women, across the menstrual cycle. Her present PhD research focuses on the short- and long-term impact of hormonal contraceptives on cardiovascular and metabolic indicators in women.
